AP Genre possibilities

So, having looked at various films and their openings from the teen, horror and thriller genre, what do you think we should do? I am swaying towards thriller because I think we could be really creative and original and i also think i've got some great ideas for what we could incorporate into a thriller story. :)

    I also think that we should do thriller for many of the same reasons as you. I have got some ideas for this genre to so we should be able to come up with a good opening. Should we incorporate a sub genre to thriller, or just simply thriller?

    Excellent, so we'll do thriller then. Maybe we could have a teen/ psychological thriller sub-genre? With the couple of ideas we've discussed between us i think that we could used something psychologial to develop our story plan whilst incorporating the idea we have so far.

    You now need to focus your research on this sub-genre; what are the generic conventions? What films?
